What is the Poverty Simulation?

The Poverty Simulation is a live-action simulation designed to sensitize us to the day-to-day realities of life faced by people with low-incomes. In the simulation, up to 88 participants assume the roles of up to 26 different families facing poverty. In addition, about 20 volunteers will assume the roles of community resources.
